tallman is a medium sized manufacturing company involved
in the design, casting, machining, and fabricating of OEM and after
market products. A technical staff with proven metallurgical
expertise designs products which meet and exceed performance
specifications in the power generation, aerospace, nuclear,
military, pulp and paper and steel industries.

tallman was founded in Hamilton Ontario, Canada in 1875.
In 1962 tallman moved to a new custom designed facility in
Burlington, Ontario. The current manufacturing facility occupies
25,000 sq. ft. Our plant has a vast array of manual and CNC machine
tools. tallman has a complete welding and fabricating
department. tallman specializes in welding, and hard facing
of copper. Our foundry utilizes both the sand and centrifugal
casting methods and has a maximum pouring capacity to supply the
full range of products to the steel industry. High quality
personalized attention to orders, rigorous quality control,
computerized order entry and inventory tracking coupled with high
speed manufacturing machining systems allows for accurate production
control.
tallman is committed to continuous improvement. We incorporate
computer controlled Atomic Absorption Spectrographic analytical
equipment, in-process oxygen analysis equipment, computer aided
design systems and CNC machining.
tallman is a member of the following technical
associations: the American Society For Testing And Materials (ASTM),
the American Foundryman's Society (AFS), the Canadian Foundry
Association (CFA), the Non- Ferrous Founders' Society (NFFS), the
Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM), the Association
of Iron and Steel Engineers (AISE), and the Iron and Steel Society (ISS).
Through our association with NFFS we are also members of the Copper
Development Association (CDA).
